Ideas and goals
Established in October of the Republic of China in October 1990, the main goal was to encourage and promote teachers to conduct research in the initial stage in order to cooperate with the growth of the school. After the restructuring of the university, in order to accelerate the development of school affairs and academic research of the university, we started to plan for the system. Under the wave of the e-generation knowledge economy, only by enhancing the value of innovation can the school's competitive power be opened; in a highly competitive society, only by strengthening professionalism and quality can sustainable development be possible. Therefore, the department gradually increases in quantity. Transform into a gatekeeper and promoter with equal emphasis on "quality" and "quantity". The business nature of the Research and Development Office has shifted from focusing on the planning level in the early stage, and gradually upgrading to both planning and assessment.
The goal of this department:
(1) Promote the sustainable development of school affairs, establish school professional characteristics, and enhance competitiveness;
(2) Implement the management, examination and evaluation system, and construct a fair, fair and efficient academic environment;
(3) Improve the quality and quantity of academic research and industry-university cooperation, and establish a stable and high-quality university in Taiwan.
